Scholarships

1.The applicant must be a Montana resident.

2.The applicant must have a family relationship
to the timber industry such as loggers, log truck
drivers, chip truck drivers, and mill workers. Please
submit a letter (100 words or less) describing that
relationship including names and phone numbers
of relationship for verification.

3. The applicant must be enrolled or planning to
enroll in Trade School, College or University.

4. The scholarship must be used within a year of
the Log Jam scholarship drawing date.

5. The scholarship will be paid to the school of the
applicant’s choice.

6. There is no age limit to qualify for the scholarship.

7. Completed applications must be post marked
or emailed by September 23, 2023.

8. If you are awarded a scholarship, you will be required
to present proof of current enrollment from the
school and a contact person’s information.

9. The applicant does not need to be present at the
Log Jam banquet to win.

10. If an applicant has been drawn in previous years,
they MAY apply again.

11. If you are awarded a scholarship, you may NOT
transfer it to another person.
